Cases come with a loop and without a loop.  The loop allows you to tether the lid to the lower case.
You can buy the case as a set or as individual parts.

Please note that the type and thickness of insulation has changed over the years.  Historical, legacy and specialty conductors with cloth, rubber, or hybrid insulation types may not read accurately.  It may be necessary to gauge the bare conductor which is something this tool is not designed for.

Warning: Not for use on live circuits or wires.  Always lock out and tag out circuits before conducting maintenance or inspection work. Do not use this tool to measure energized or potentially energized conductors.

We recommend purchasing the set with the branded protective storage case that is designed to protect WireSticks in the field whether they are in your toolbag, toolbox, or service truck.
