At Nanohawk, we stand behind the quality of our products and aim to provide a smooth experience. The type and duration of warranty coverage depends on the product category.
🔧 Electronics Kits & PCBs
PCBs Only
We make commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that printed circuit boards (PCBs) are free from defects that would impair functionality for 30 days after delivery.

Cosmetic variations in soldermask or silkscreen are not covered.

If you believe your board is defective, contact us within 30 days.
Full Kits
Nanohawk kits are covered by a 90-day limited warranty. We use commercially reasonable care to ensure all components, PCBs, and included parts are functional and complete.

⚠️ Kits cannot be returned or warrantied once partially assembled or modified. We are not responsible for soldering or assembly errors.
🧢 Tools, Replacement Parts, Accessories, Hats & Apparel
We inspect and ship all products with commercially reasonable care.
30-Day Manufacturing Defect Coverage
For 30 days after delivery, we will repair, replace, or refund (at our discretion) items that have a manufacturing defect, such as:

misaligned embroidery

damaged stitching
-
improper fit due to a production error
-
material flaws or breakage under normal, intended use
Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:

normal wear and tear
-
Normal embroidery placement/alignment variation: Because embroidery is applied to finished hats, small differences from hat to hat are expected and are not a defect. Commercially reasonable tolerances include up to 1/4”off-center, up to 1/4” of slight rotation/angle across the design, and up to 3/8” variation in vertical placement. Embroidery should be evaluated at arm’s length under normal viewing conditions.

damage from misuse, abuse, modification, improper installation, or improper storage

damage from heat exposure, chemicals/solvents, or environmental conditions outside normal intended use

cosmetic variations inherent to the manufacturing process (minor surface marks, texture variation, or slight color variation)
Apparel Condition Requirements
Hats and garments that are worn, washed, soiled, or altered are not eligible for warranty or return.
How to File a Claim
Contact us with your order number and a photo of the issue (and packaging damage, if applicable). We may request additional photos or measurements to confirm the issue.
💻 Software Products
We use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure smooth access, download, and basic compatibility of our software products.

One-time software purchases are covered for 30 days in cases of download errors or file corruption.

Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, but no refunds are issued for unused time after the billing cycle has started.

This warranty does not cover compatibility issues, performance limitations, or feature expectations.

⚠️ Exclusions
This warranty is void if a product is:

Altered, opened, or physically damaged

Used in an improper or unsafe environment

Installed incorrectly or misused

Operated beyond its intended specifications

Used in life safety, life support, mission-critical, or hazardous applications
Nanohawk products are intended for light commercial, educational, hobbyist, and general-use purposes only.

We will use commercially reasonable efforts to respond to warranty claims promptly and provide a fair resolution. At our discretion, we may:

Issue a refund (excluding shipping)

If you disagree with the terms of this warranty, you may return your product within the original return window for a refund, less shipping.
