NanoHawk is a brand of Swamp Ventures LLC, a Texas-based company founded in 2012 by Brian Greul. Headquartered in Houston, NanoHawk’s mission is to build and deliver unique, high-quality embroidered hats, DIY electronics kits, and thoughtfully crafted mobile apps for real-world problems.
Behind the brand is me — Brian — a software developer turned serial entrepreneur with a background in Information Systems (B.S., University of Houston, Class of 1999). I’ve worked for three software companies, built a dot-com t-shirt business from 2002–2011, and now wear even more hats (pun intended).
These days, you’ll find me designing products, managing a pest control business, doing home inspections, tinkering with code, remodeling spaces, and occasionally filming videos for my YouTube channel — all while being supervised by three cats. I drive a Jeep, enjoy scuba diving and hiking, and once had people complain about the bugs in my code. Now, in pest control, I just get rid of the bugs entirely.
